NOTES

The BTR-152 (Bronetransporter-152) is a non-amphibious vehicle that has an improved (6 x 6) truck chassis and an all-welded steel hull. The troop compartment is to the rear of the cab and the engine is in front. These vehicles are early examples of armored transporters built from converted truck chassis (ZIL-151, and later ZIL-157),

BTR-152
Basic APC; many of which would later be covered and converted for other uses, such as ambulances, radio stations, and engineer vehicles. The basic BTR-152 has no winch, has an open top, and has no tire pressure control lines. Versions for AA use include an Egyptian M53 gun (4x 12.7 mm) mount, and a ZU-23-2 gun mount used by the PLO.
