IVANOVA: "Captain, fifty ships have just emerged from hyperspace.  Their silhouettes match no known configuration and they have not responded to our signals.  They are now accelerating towards Babylon 5.  Vermillion squadron is on patrol in that area and I've sent them to intercept."

SHERIDAN: "Yellow alert.  Activate defense grid and scramble all fighters.  No one is to fire unless I give the order.  We don't need another war on our hands."

IVANOVA: "Captain, a Shadow vessel has appeared and is moving to intercept the alien fleet!  Lieutenant Hunter is requesting permission to engage the Shadow with Vermillion squadron."

SHERIDAN: "Red alert!  Tell Hunter to kill the Shadow but do not, repeat, do NOT fire on the alien ships."
